Côr Bro Gwerfyl developed naturally from the vibrant activities of Aelwyd Bro Gwerfyl and their successes at the National Esteddfod. The choir has consistently reached the top in the Urdd Eisteddfod for a period of ten years. Through local support and the keen desire of choir members to carry on singing, Côr Bro Gwerfyl was formed. Since then the choir has won at the National Eisteddfod, Yr Wyl Gerdd Dant and at Eisteddfod a Chadair Powys.
By now, for the small, homely contingent the choir's diary is full year after year receiving invitations to numerous concerts, Noson Lawen or Wedi'r Oedfa. Their travels continue to be a source of excitement and fun to all involved.
There have been many experieces that have cemented the closeness of Côr Bro Gwerfyl as well as the local community and their successes are proof of the fact that they have continued to be best friends through the highs and lows.
